Support our scholars

Invest in Tomorrow’s Leaders

The Full Spectrum supports lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and allied students who have the vision and the ability to truly make a difference in the cannabis industry and community. With a Full Spectrum scholarship, students are able to focus more wholly on their academic pursuits. With the financial burden lightened, they are able to work one less job, avoid going into student loan debt, and involve themselves in community activities.

This is a community effort. We are giving these students the gift of education, and they are giving us a future full of hope and equality. We encourage you to join us in supporting tomorrow’s leaders today.

Major Donor Clubs

The Rainbow Leaf Club is the major donor club of The Full Spectrum Scholarship Fund. Rainbow Leaf members demonstrate their support for the Scholarship Fund by making a significant gift of $1,000 or more per year. The Full Spectrum holds an annual Rainbow Leaf Club Reception for major donors as a thank you and to report on the growth of the Fund and its programs. Rainbow Leaf members also receive a Rainbow Leaf pin that identifies them as major donors.

The Golden Leaf Club of the Full Spectrum Scholarship Fund are those donors who have given a onetime gift or pledge to the Fund of $10,000 or more. This amount represents a significant contribution to our ability to support our future leaders. Golden Leaf members receive an invitation to the annual Golden Leaf Luncheon and a Golden Leaf pin that identifies them as major donors.

The President’s Circle represents some of The Full Spectrum Scholarship Fund’s biggest supporters, these are donors who have invested $50,000+ in our future leaders. These donors are instrumental in supporting the longevity of the Fund through their yearly contributions and continuous championing of the Fund throughout the community. President’s Circle members receive an invitation to our annual President’s Circle dinner, annual donor receptions, and are identified with a diamond leaf pin.

workplace giving

One of the easiest ways to make a contribution to The Full Spectrum Scholarship Fund is through your workplace giving program. These programs allow you to designate a portion of your salary to be deducted from your paycheck and forwarded directly to The Full Spectrum Scholarship Fund. Your employer’s payroll department handles the payroll donations, making this a simple transaction for both the donor and for The Full Spectrum Scholarship Fund.

Many businesses offer matching gift programs. It is easy to take advantage of this employee benefit that doubles the impact of your contribution. Check with your Human Resources Department to see if your company provides a matching gift program or contact Neil Lequia, Founder & President.

employer matching gifts

Employee Matching Gifts are donations an employer makes to match its employees’ charitable contributions. Usually associated with corporate grantmakers, employee matching gifts often are dollar-for-dollar, but some companies will give double or even triple the original donation. Some may also give matching gifts for employees’ volunteer efforts.
